Artificial Nails Never Looked So Good
Lee press-on nails used to be all the rage. Hugely popular in the 80’s, they were worn by stars, such as Madonna, but were a real pain to use. Pinging off the moment you breathed on them, they were more hassle than they were worth.
However, times have changed and the Lee press-ons are making a big come back. Nail technology has moved on unimaginably in the last 30 plus years, with far better adhesives and materials. Today’s Lee press-on nails come in a whole range of gorgeous patterns and designs, including some stunning 3D creations. ‘Blank’ lee nails provide the perfect canvas for applying fingernail art, and thanks to their semi-temporary nature, they make the perfect wedding or prom nails.
It seems a real shame not to use these pretty little gems, and many stars and catwalk models agree. So, I’m going to give the best-selling ones a whirl.

What Makes It Great
I think I’m a little bit in love with these gorgeous pretties already. On first look, they are glamor personified as they twinkle in the light. The included glue pads seem nicely sticky, so after a small amount of careful shaping, I applied them to my cleaned and grease-free nails. Over a week, later they are still in place, looking as perfect as ever. Admittedly I did have to apply a few dots of glue around the edges, but I probably could have got away without it, if I were a little more careful.
Where It Could Be Improved
Only a minor gripe, but they do feel like they could have done with another coat, at least, of polish for strength.

2) Kiss Masterpiece Press-On Nails
What Makes It Great
Pre-painted in shimmering pale pink, this kit includes 3D crystals and glue, but even without embellishments, these nails are pretty enough to wear out. Well shaped, they needed little filing, and stayed in place for nearly four days, without extra glue.
Where It Could Be Improved
If you add the crystals, use your normal brand of glue, as the one included can, on rare occasions, turn a dark color.

What Makes It Great
The rich color of these red/orangey press-ons is simply gorgeous, and the very subtle, but beautiful, ombre effect makes them very unusual. They feel hard-wearing and remained well glued for nearly a week of chip-free wear.

Where It Could Be Improved
They did require a little shaping initially, however this was quick and easy.
