These jewelled colors – rich purple, vivid blue and luscious green, look like the sparks from a blazing fire, or the emerald green of a rainforest lizard. They glow with dazzling shine, the flakes of color just jumping out. I love, love, love these and, fortunately, they didn’t get chipped until well into the second week.
Where it Could be Improved
Make sure you apply a clear base coat, before adding this polish, as it can stain your nail bed.

2) Aster 9 Sheets Leopard Print Nail Art Stickers
What Makes it Great
Mention the word ‘exotic’ to many people and they automatically think of animal print, me included, but up until now, creating animal print nails had been very difficult and required a vast amount of skill. Sally Hanson, however, has produced these simple-to-use nail stickers. Just apply a base coat as normal, add your stickers and brush on a couple of layers of top coat for protection and longevity. They last well over two weeks, are super quick to do, and are so detailed that everyone will marvel at your manicure skills! You can use them on toenails too, for a complete look.
Where it Could be Improved
The instructions are a little confusing – my advice is not to follow the pictures, but stick to the written bits, and you can’t go far wrong.

3) ILNP Color Shifting Chrome Polish – Reminisce
What Makes it Great
ILNP’s color-shifting chrome polish is about as exotic and unusual as you can get. Once buffed, the chrome effect has an almost unrivaled metallic shine, and the colors continually shift from ocean blue, through rich antique gold, to deep-sea green and back again. Like shot silk, the light brings out electric flashes of dazzling vibrancy, and I actually felt heartbroken when, after 18 glorious days, my nails developed a chip.
Where it Could be Improved
Although the instructions say that this polish is fully opaque after two coats, I found applying a third coat provided a touch more depth.
